The foundation for Flowervale's breeding philosophies and current success was formed back in 1976, when stud principal Case Wientjens was involved in breeding and showing dressage and showjumping horses with the Dutch Warmblood Studbook (K.W.P.N), in his native Holland.  

After breeding and showing many province winners and studying the bloodlines of the outstanding performance horses in Europe, Case was sure that he had learned sufficient to become a successful breeder.  He realized that as long as he maintained a flexible attitude within ... and ... towards the sport-horse population, he would always be open to new concepts which could help him in his quest to breed outstanding performance horses.

Breeding only top quality horses, with the best performance bloodlines has always been Case's goal,  now he devotes all of his time to implementing the lessons of his early days in Holland ...
